NyuWater Engineering is an Arizona nonprofit corporation founded by aerospace and engineering researchers. We exist for one reason: to give water managers the early-warning intelligence they need to protect infrastructure, conserve water, and serve the communities that depend on them.

Wei Xiong

President

PhD researcher in aerospace engineering with a focus on remote sensing and geospatial analysis. Led the development of NyuWater's satellite detection methodology and serves as the organization's primary liaison with water utility partners and academic collaborators.

Rakesh Koppad

Vice President and Secretary

M.S. in Aerospace Engineering from Arizona State University. Leads NyuWater's operations, outreach, and organizational governance. Background in geospatial systems and remote sensing data pipelines.

Goutham Shimoga Umesh

CTO and CFO

M.S. in Aerospace Engineering from Arizona State University. Architected NyuWater's production-grade Python detection pipeline, machine learning models, and overall system architecture. Leads all technical development and product delivery.
